He Won the Bet, But Lost Me Forever

Episode 40 of 40

Ellie stumbles upon a truth that shatters her world: her boyfriend Dante has been pretending to be poor the whole time. Behind her back he has been wagering with his friends and treating her feelings as a game. After three years of sincere devotion, she realizes everything between them was built on a lie. Rather than confront him, Ellie keeps up appearances and quietly plays along with his two-faced performance, hiding everything she knows.
