Alexander Miller, the billionaire head of Montara Group, has settled into a quiet life in the countryside, but he travels back to the city to attend his son's engagement, arriving with extravagant presents and a plan to hand the company over to him. His future daughter-in-law then claims he assaulted her, a charge rooted in a dream she says she had. Her family pulls his son into their side, using fabricated evidence to press a lawsuit against his own father, and Alexander comes close to being sent to prison before the company's attorney uncovers what really happened.
