Famine Farm Queen

Episode 10 of 87

A doctoral graduate opens her eyes to find herself inside the body of a selfish aunt from a time of famine, a woman who once tried to sell her own niece. Armed with modern agricultural knowledge, she sets out to coax impressive harvests from barren soil and win over the family she has suddenly inherited. Her plans are complicated by suspicion from those who remember the old aunt's cruelty and by the question of how long a stranger can hide behind a borrowed face. The fields may be her salvation, but they also draw her closer to the people she was meant to betray.
