After his twin brother falls into a coma, a man takes on his brother's identity, copying the voice, the touch and the private secrets that only the family would know. He does it for one reason: to stay close to the woman his brother loved. She, however, has come to believe that a soul can possess another body, and she begins to wonder who is really standing beside her. Caught between a deception born of devotion and a suspicion she cannot shake, the two are pulled into a bond that is as painful as it is tender.
