Catching Merfolk

Episode 8 of 13

Ella, a mermaid, has spent a decade posing as a human inside a research institute, all to free her mother, who was captured by its staff. She works her way up to become Director Adam's assistant, enduring punishing experiments and quietly taking access credentials that could help her. On her coming-of-age night, though, she uncovers a truth that shatters her: Adam is the one who killed her mother. Consumed by grief and rage, she must decide what to do next.
