Butcher Girl's Lucky Break-Up

Episode 28 of 73

In a land scarred by years of war, where a law demands that women wed by eighteen, Lily finds herself promised in marriage to a man she has been bound to by the state. The war has thinned the population so badly that such rules are enforced without mercy, and Lily's future is no longer her own to shape. Her engagement puts her in a precarious position as the pressure to comply closes in around her.
