Beyond Her Reach

Episode 38 of 40

Sterling, heir to the Bennett dynasty, conceals his true identity to honor an engagement with Jone, pretending to be a laid-back slacker. Behind the scenes he quietly rescues her failing company and helps make her the reigning figure of the Bay Area, yet Jone only has eyes for her untrustworthy assistant Fidel. After Fidel douses Sterling with coffee and Jone ends their engagement, Sterling makes a single phone call to his father that sets off a chain of financial collapse. The woman who scorned him must now face what her arrogance has cost her.
