Betrayed by My Dragon, Back with Twin Phoenixes

Episode 8 of 25

Ten years ago, Aleric Veyl was the most gifted beastmaster the commoner-born students of Auret Academy had ever produced. His bond with his dragon was the envy of every classmate, and his talent seemed to promise a bright future. The source premise stops there, so the story's emotional core is the weight of that once-celebrated past, the betrayal that followed it, and the question of what he might reclaim when he returns.
