Against the Snowstorm

On a blizzard-swept Christmas Eve in 2000, Lena finds herself cast out into the cold by her cruel husband, leaving her alone with her 3-year-old son Noah. Noah has a developmental delay and is of mixed race, and the mother must now face the winter storm and a world that offers little shelter. The story follows her fight to keep her child safe while the harsh weather and her husband's cruelty press in from every side.
