A wakened Dragon Oath

Episode 39 of 42

Medieval Europe once sank into a long darkness, with plague and monsters tearing its kingdoms apart. Six kings struck a bargain with a true dragon: in exchange for six of her scales, the souls of royalty would belong to her after death, and the realms were saved. Peace eventually settled over the land, but the royal houses and the Church rewrote the past, hid the truth, and took the dragon's power for themselves. A loyal knight who saw through the lies pledges his sword to the dragon, and the two set out to reclaim the stolen scales and bring the faithless kingdoms to account.
