Marcus is a powerful figure who holds sway over America's economy and its arms supply, yet at his brother Reed's wedding his military-style uniform gets him mistaken for a delivery worker. The bride and her relatives treat him with open disdain, and his attempts to pair Reed off with the celebrated Three Goddesses of America only bring him more mockery. When Reed steps in to defend him, the bride's family turns against Reed, and the bride publicly leaves him for her former partner, a man quietly draining Reed's company of funds.
