A Promise to My Fallen Brother

Episode 41 of 45

Ares, a decorated special-forces hero, retired from the army after severe trauma following the death of his closest comrade in battle. He vowed to look after his fallen brother-in-arms' wife and daughter, who were pulled into crushing high-interest loan debts after a commercial scam and then hounded by local enforcers. Ares steps in to stop the thugs, only to discover they are just the visible edge of a vast network of gangsters, crooked police, corrupt officials and even traitors inside the military. Refusing to stop at one family's crisis, he sets out to expose organised crime and official corruption, while the syndicate fights back with traps, smear campaigns and violent attacks.
