30-Day Bride

Episode 2 of 30

In modern Manhattan, the old Deveraux family holds sway over a financial empire that spans the globe. The source for this title is a clipped opening that names the dynasty and its wealth but leaves the heroine's path unexplained, so the story sets up a powerful family whose reach extends far beyond the city skyline. Its rigid hold on power forms the backdrop for a relationship shaped by betrayal and bitter family loyalties.
