Young Florentines retreat from the plague that has gripped their city, and their time away becomes a whirl of cheeky escapades. Spirited exchanges and daring flirtations soon give the group a playful, sensual side as they pass the days apart from the outbreak. The story leans into bawdy humor and romance while the threat of disease hangs just outside their hideaway.
