A gifted painter who has a bad feeling about her future is waiting for the end, expecting that a killer under hypnosis, sent by a Chinese Triad, will be the one to take her life. Instead of a violent finish, the assassin's first encounter with her leaves him drawn to her in a very different way. The story follows an unexpected bond that forms between two people whose lives were never meant to meet.
