A notorious serial killer is offered a job that sounds almost impossible: abduct the daughter of Pittsburgh's Chief of Police. The offer comes at a moment when the killer has decided to take a stand against the people who run the city, and the plan turns a cold professional arrangement into something far more personal. Tension builds as the lines between hunter, hunted and hired hand begin to blur. The story pits a feared criminal against a family that has every reason to fear him.
