Two shepherds working the high pasture find themselves drawn into a bond neither expected. Their connection grows more tangled once each of them takes a wife, leaving both men pulled between the lives they have built and the feelings they cannot easily set aside. Caught between duty and desire, they face a quiet conflict that tests every promise they have made to the people waiting for them below.
