You Play Innocent, I Perfected It

Lillian has been mistreated by the family that adopted her, and her suffering ends with a commitment to an asylum. Years pass before the Hayes family steps in and pulls her out of that place. The gentle, wronged girl she once seemed to be has since learned to hide her true self behind a convincing mask, and that hidden identity becomes the engine of the drama. Each move she makes carries the weight of past injustice.
