The White Slave [Original]

Victoria returns to the American city where she was saved as a child, now posing as a marchioness set to wed a wealthy local merchant. Years earlier she was secretly raised by enslaved people who became her family, until she was torn from them and sent to Spain because a white woman was not permitted to live among slaves. Driven by a fierce sense of justice, she comes back under a false identity determined to free the people she loves from bondage. Her path also leads toward the killer of her parents and toward the man she would sacrifice everything for.
