The Voice Inside the Cellar

Lina Hayes is taken against her will to Black Rock, a remote settlement tucked into the Appalachian mountains. There she falls into the hands of Joe Datch, the man who bought her, and he holds her captive and subjects her to brutal treatment. Her struggle to endure and survive this cruelty sits at the heart of the story, as she searches for a way out of a place built to keep her hidden from the world.
