The Veteran's Promise

Jack Holt, a Marine veteran, built Ridgeline Farm Supply from nothing to employ disabled vets, including Sam Russo, the comrade who lost his leg saving his entire squad and whom Jack never could repay. After Sam's death, his widow and nine-year-old daughter are left vulnerable to Derek Malone, a market boss who believes the grieving woman is within his reach. Sam's only gift to his child is a phone number and a promise that whoever answers will come. When Sofia finally calls it, Jack answers, and rescuing the family proves to be only the beginning of a larger fight.
