The Third Slot of the Vending Machine

Betty works the night shift cleaning an office tower in downtown Chicago, a job that keeps her moving through empty hallways long after everyone else has gone home. One evening she discovers a distress note tucked somewhere it should never have been, tucked inside the workings of a vending machine. The message pulls her into a quiet mystery in a city that never seems to slow down, and her routine begins to change in ways she did not expect.
