The Princess in Disguise

After the collapse of the Holy Spirit Kingdom, Natalie, its rightful princess, goes on living in hiding, passing herself off as a prince called Nat. Her sister Valessa plays a part in the tangled situation that follows, and the lingering loss of the throne shapes everything Natalie does. Her quiet survival is built on a disguise that could be stripped away at any moment, and the pull toward reclaiming what was taken sets the story's central tension.
