The Odyssey: A Warrior King's Homecoming

After the Trojan War, Odysseus defeats the Cyclops and is crowned King of Ithaca by the goddess Athena. Keeping his true identity hidden, he comes home only to face scorn from his wife's relatives, who press her to wed the suitor Antinous. Though his sacred relics are smashed, he keeps proving his worth through a staged setup and an abduction, and a loyal ally pays a heavy price under an old life debt. The story builds toward the coronation, where his disguise finally falls away and a bold confrontation decides his fate.
