The Long Road of Desire

On a cheap road trip across a barren countryside, practical Catherine crams her old SUV with luggage until there is no room left in the back, so she asks her husband Julian to perch on her eighteen-year-old son Hunter's lap. The cramped ride quickly turns into a nightmare as Hunter, hidden under a gray blanket, pushes and tests Julian while Catherine keeps driving without noticing. Julian stays silent, torn between fear, shame and feelings he cannot admit, all to hold his marriage together. As suspicion spreads and pressure mounts, the tension builds toward a tense confrontation at a gas station.
