The God of War Desires Me

A young prince is set up by a regent who has seized power and is sent away as an offering to the war god, a deity who has secretly adored him for years. Once he uncovers that his family was betrayed and his homeland taken, he sets his sights on vengeance. Jealous celestial rivals then frame him, place a curse on him, and subject him to trials that drag him down into the underworld, where his bond with the war god is tested against the forces arrayed to tear them apart.
