Cast aside and labeled as waste blood, Kane grows up under the guidance of his master, Elaine. Along the way he forms a bond with Liana, a gifted phoenix prodigy, through a pact between dragon and phoenix. A rival named Caelus stands in his path, and Kane's victory over him stirs a dormant power tied to the Dragon God. The stakes rise sharply when demons seize Liana in a scheme to free their king.
