The Football Star Chose Me

A love note intended for another person lands in the hands of Logan McCallahan, the captain of the Black Bears and the most famous player in the X League. After she is dumped in front of everyone, Logan insists the note was actually addressed to her and recruits the narrator into a three-month pretend relationship designed to make her ex regret things. The narrator agrees for a simple reason of her own: getting closer to a crush who has never noticed her. Soon the staged kisses begin to feel genuine, and the arrangement grows complicated as Logan's domineering father steps in, the ex becomes hostile, and the press exposes their private agreement to the world.
