The Fake General Victor Stonehaven

As enemy forces from Japan push into the northern frontier, the King of Northern Liang must accept a decisive battle for control of Cloudreach. The kingdom's legendary hero, General Victor Stonehaven, has vanished for two years, and the only man who could face the Japanese war god, Ethan Vance, lies badly wounded. General Lin Qing turns to a bumbling fool who looks just like Victor to frighten the invaders. When scheming villains go after Ethan's jade pendant, a sudden flash of memory reveals the truth: he is Victor Stonehaven himself, and he begins a game of deception.
