The Empress's Personal Steward

Caspian Bellwether is killed in a hotel after catching his partner and friend Lu Ye together, and he wakes in ancient times just as eunuchs prepare to castrate him. Chief Eunuch Wei rescues him on one condition: he must slip into the Empress Isolde's bathing chamber and spy on her plots. While eavesdropping there, Caspian uncovers a dangerous secret, that the Empress is actually a woman, and his curiosity lands him in trouble when Shadow Guard Jin catches him.
