The Daughter She Left Behind

Elizabeth returns to the orphanage and takes her daughter Lily back, bringing the child into a cramped, run-down rented room where the two of them must depend on one another. Their bond is tested by the hardship of getting by in a place that offers little comfort or security. Lily's future and the mother who abandoned and then reclaimed her hang in an uneasy balance as their fragile shared life begins.
