The Blessing in Disguise

Hope comes into the world under a dark cloud of bad luck, and her family leaves her behind. She is raised on a mountain by Master Goodfellow, an eccentric but gentle guardian, who teaches her that her future depends on finding her true bond. At just five, she sets out from the mountain to look for that connection. The only household willing to open its door is the Harris Family, who are poor, plagued by misfortune, and struggling to keep their lives together.
