The Black Rose Never Looks Back

Elena, the only heir to Chicago's feared Moran crime family, lost her father young and has spent years hiding her identity while longing for an ordinary life. As a teenager she falls for Ryan, a boy from a modest background, but a jealous classmate spreads lies that convince him she is Victor's mistress, and he leaves without a word. Years later Ryan commands his own gang, the Hawk Gang, and they meet again during a deal on a luxury cruise. When Victor is severely wounded by a traitor within the family, Elena can no longer stay hidden.
