The Beta's Regret, She Won't Beg This Time

For five years, Lyra kept a hidden bond with Gideon, the Beta of her brother's pack, and the two of them shared a secret no one else knew. The source premise is cut short right as their plan to reveal the mating was about to unfold, so the story leaves off with that public announcement hanging in the air. Lyra has spent years being the one who waits and hopes, and the tension builds around what her silence has cost her. The title hints at a heroine who will no longer plead for a place in Gideon's world.
