Soul Sight

Ella, an orphan, has a rare gift: she can see the color of people's souls floating above their heads, silver for kindness and black for cruelty. Her ability shapes how she reads the people she meets. Among them is Hawk, a stern-looking man whose appearance seems to warn her away, yet she finds herself drawn to him and to the lively Martha. Their paths begin to tangle as Ella tries to trust what her sight tells her.
