She Was Never Just a Wife

Claire Hayes is dismissed by her husband's family as the useless, shopaholic wife among eight daughters-in-law, the one nobody expects anything from. Within a household that measures every woman by her spending and status, she is overshadowed by sisters-in-law who chase careers on Wall Street and prestige at every turn. Her humble image hides a far bigger story that the family has yet to discover, and the tension between how she is treated and who she really is drives the drama forward.
