My Tavern, My Fortune, My Empire

Calvin Sawyer is a diner owner and history buff from the modern age who suddenly wakes up in another world as the long-lost eldest son of the Sawyer family. Once reunited with his kin, he meets nothing but contempt, especially from his envious half-brother, who eventually forces him out of the household. Determined not to be beaten, Calvin sets up a tavern of his own and unexpectedly forms a bond with Empress Xena Layton, who is travelling in disguise.
