My Proxy Game with the Cold Lawyer

To clear a debt she owes, the heroine agrees to a contract that makes her a stand-in for a cold-hearted lawyer. She takes on the role of his nominal partner, putting on a show that nobody questions at first. The arrangement sounds simple on paper, but living a pretend connection with a man who keeps everyone at arm's length soon blurs the lines between the act and what she actually feels.
