My Husband Made Everyone Believe I Was a Gold Digger

After her mother falls critically ill, Sterling family heiress Irene asks her new husband, Theodore, for the $200,000 set aside in their prenuptial agreement, just days after the wedding. He pays without a word, but his attitude toward her turns cold, and he soon begins parading other women at social events while the crowd mocks her as a gold digger. On her birthday, Irene sits alone in an emergency room in pain while Theodore hosts a party for his new girlfriend. Holding a bill she can barely afford, she calls him to demand a divorce, and he assumes she is after more money.
