My Family Never Saved a Place for Me

When Erin moves into the family's new house, she finds that every bedroom has been claimed by her parents, her brother, and their adopted daughter Sophie, with her own name nowhere to be seen. Ten years earlier, Sophie's father Thomas drowned on the day Ryan nearly fell into the water, and Helen became convinced he had died saving her son. Ever since, Erin has been asked to give up her space, her parents' attention, and her brother's protection to repay that supposed debt. The breaking point comes when she learns that everyone in the household, including Ethan, belongs to a group chat she was never invited to.
