My Broken Chick is a Phoenix?

A chick that was left behind by the tamer who once raised it meets a tamer who was betrayed by the beast bonded to them, and the two broken souls find themselves drawn together. Each carries a deep wound from an earlier bond, and the sunny little creature may be more than it appears. Their uneasy partnership begins as a fragile attempt to heal what was shattered, though the path ahead is far from certain.
