Married To A Stranger

Lily Henderson, a driven but broke young woman, ends things with her possessive and abusive boyfriend Mathew Gregor the day before a crucial job interview that could lift her out of poverty. To make her point, she kisses a stranger, Tristan Hawthrone, in the middle of a restaurant dinner and persuades him to play along. When she arrives late to the interview, she is shocked to find Mathew now runs the company, and he hires her with motives of his own. Soon Tristan asks her to pose as his fiancée for his visiting mother, and Lily hesitates over the offer.
