Lessons of the Village

To escape an unwanted marriage, Minghui pretends to be a teacher named Wang Shuai and arrives at Pingba Village Elementary School under that borrowed identity. Her arrival unsettles the quiet rhythm of the village classroom, and she begins her new life in a place where nobody knows who she really is. The disguise carries its own risks, as every lesson and friendship she builds rests on a lie that could unravel at any moment.
