On the day of her marking ceremony, werewolf Rose Roth is shocked to find her mate, Alex Burke, together with her own sister in a private moment that ruins the celebration. Hurt and humiliated, she refuses to accept the betrayal quietly and begins to consider how to turn the tables on the pair. The romance centers on a bond that has been broken in the most painful way, and on the choices that follow when pride and heartbreak collide.
