I Married the Man Who Planned My Rape

Believing her husband was her rescue, a woman overhears him in the wine cellar joking with the men who attacked her, and learns the assault was a staged show he arranged himself. She also discovers he married her solely for inheritance rights, and since then he has humiliated her, branded her, taken her child, and made every day unbearable. Yet an old Corleone family oath decrees that a husband who betrays his marriage forfeits everything he owns to his wife. Refusing to remain prey any longer, she sets out to turn that oath into her weapon.
