I Broke My Stepfather

During a cheap road trip across a barren countryside, Catherine crams her aging SUV with luggage until there is no room in the back, and she casually asks her husband Julian to sit on her eighteen-year-old son Hunter's lap. Hidden under a gray blanket, Hunter keeps pushing and testing Julian while Catherine keeps driving, none the wiser. Trapped by fear, shame, and feelings he cannot admit, Julian chooses silence to hold his marriage together, but suspicion grows as the trip spirals into one crisis after another.
