House Husband Supreme

Silas Lancaster has walked the earth for a thousand years as an immortal, and he has sworn a dying vow to his friend to watch over that friend's family for three years. To keep that promise close at hand, he marries the friend's granddaughter, but her relatives greet him with contempt and cruelty at every turn. Silas endures their humiliation quietly while the marriage slowly collapses toward divorce, and the people who looked down on him have no idea what he is truly capable of.
