Her Stepfather's Crush

Samantha, a young bank employee, spots a suspicious debit on an account that has never shown large transactions before. Her supervisor Joanie has given her a routine list of exceptions to review, but Samantha is quietly using that task to dig into one particular account that has left her shaken. When Joanie senses something is off, Samantha insists she is fine and keeps her true reason for searching hidden. The lie gnaws at her, since Joanie has championed her career and plans to promote her once she finishes her degree. With every flagged transaction reviewed, only one step remains: a phone call that might bring the account's secrets to light.
