Her Last Statement

When drug traffickers killed their parents, eighteen-year-old Sheila Jean became the only steady presence in the lives of her three younger siblings. Determined to keep them out of harm's way, she staged a fire that would make the family vanish from the enemies hunting them, taking the full weight of that choice onto her own shoulders. Each sacrifice she makes to protect the children deepens her guilt and tests the bond she has worked so hard to hold together.
