From Lame to Lord

Modern youth James Cooper wakes up to find he has slipped through time and now lives inside the body of a lame boy. He has landed in a chaotic era gripped by famine, where every day is a struggle for survival. Having lost his own world and his easy future, he must find a way to endure hardship while his new body and surroundings threaten to undo him. The source ends mid-thought, so the story here stops at the moment his strange new life begins.
